Together with the set up of the existing HAI casting facility in Ranshofen HAI will become one of the most flexible producers of billets in Europe with an annual capacity of up to 150.000 tons. The range of products and services will include:
- Production of billets and slabs in all alloy series (1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx)
- Billet in all standard diameters (6’, 7’, 8’, 9’, 10’, 11’, 12’, 13’, 14’ and 15’) without exception produced in Wagstaff Airslip quality to guarantee high quality and extrudebility
- Slabs in the range of 1360 – 1620 with a thickness of 360 mm produced in Wagstaff LHC quality
- Tolling agreements for clean and contaminated scrap, as well as the possibility to convert dross to billet or slab
- Ultra-sonic tested billets, checked by a 9 probe, fully automatic Ultra-sonic testing unit
- Selective homogenization by continuous- or batch homogenization plant
- Short delivery times and high security of supply due to the fact that we can produce our products with four independent casting lines from two different locations
